What are amazing computer speakers for a midi keyboard vsti?
Friday, June 18th, 2010When I go to music stores they always have their digital pianos hooked up to amazing monitors and subs and they sound spectacular. I used vsti plugins like truepianos which have really good sound. Now I want to take that sound to the next level. I figure instead of spending 1000 on monitors and subs, a nice computer 5.1 sub and speaker system might do. Has anyone done this yet. Any recommendations. Looking for at least 8" sub. Anyone use klipsch promedia 2.1?
Do not buy ‘hi fi’ things like 5.1
You can try KRK speakers and they are good; buy a pro quality sound card and hook it up with ur KRK or any other pro monitor to get best sound!
I use steinberg grand 2; amazing!
But these days I also use True Piano and applying some of my tracks!
