Klipsch Computer Speakers

Klipsch is an American company which has been making loudspeakers since 1946. The company was founded by Paul Klipsch, one of America’s foremost audio pioneers.
Klipsch computer speakers have been manufactured ever since the company realised that the home computer was not only used for gaining knowledge but also as a home media center.
In 1999 Klipsch computer speakers were the first in the world to be THX certified. This is the industry standard for sound reproduction meaning that Klipsch computer speakers’ sound is heard exactly as the sound engineer intended it to be. Definitely something the company could be proud of! This model, the Promedia 2.1.2, is still being produced today showing that Klipsch are onto a winner.
Since that time, Klipsch computer speakers have won other awards and introduced innovations to the computer speaker category. In 2005, they won PC World’s, World Class Award in the portable speakers’ category – a very prestigious award! Winners in this category are selected for their design, ease of use, their features, performance, innovation and value for money. As the editor in chief of PC World said:
• “From desktop publishers to travel routers to satellite radio and video instant messenger services, the editors reward the finest products and most outstanding performers in this annual award program. Congratulations to the Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 2.0.”
It is therefore no wonder that in the marketplace, Klipsch computer speakers have a very good reputation. They are well made and attractive. They produce a good, loud sound, especially the bass. They are compact so they will fit neatly near a computer. They are reasonably priced for their quality and they last well. Speaking of being well priced – it is often possible to get a really good bargain on Klipsch computer speakers on eBay!
Klipsch computer speakers will hook up to TVs, gaming consoles or other portable device via the headphone jack. They will turn the desktop computer into a performance center for entertainment. There is even a model that connects to an iPod. These speakers offer complete insulation from cell phone interference while still delivering really good sound.
However, there are a couple of small downsides to klipsch computer speakers. The power switch is not located conveniently, it is on the sub-woofer. This can lead to the speakers not always being turned off. The wire connections can easily come loose. There is no remote control. These drawbacks do not really affect the performance of the Klipsch computer speakers – they are more like little annoyances!
Klipsch computer speakers have really earned their reputation. The company works hard to keep up with the times and give its customers what they want. When customers need to upgrade or replace their speakers they invariably choose Klipsch computer speakers. Also in forums on the internet regarding computer speakers, they are highly recommended and have very good feedback.
Paul Klipsch, if he were alive today, would be rightly very proud of Klipsch computer speakers!
